Stitch

Stitch (Randyjw; August 4, 2018)

Dredge paper

lightly through the water

on the plate

Fingertips press

gently adhere the

flour from the tray

Like a bridge

span the gap

don’t fall through

the widened crack

Knead,

needing what

a papier mâché fix

to stitch this heart

  1. What a dainty picture you paint, Rach.

  2. I agree, it has a gentle and wistful feel, with the details of the recipe, the idea of going on with life, with pain. Good work.
