Then, again,

the flip side to being Cinderella

is feeling like a princess in your eyes

A rose, from off the cake,

which I had, and ate that, too

And under the pine I sat

after walking a way

in my dilapidated shoes

and a ring to remind me

like a coach to whisk me home

Yes, my heart and the moon twice full
