And so it was true

And I’m not really sure

How you knew it was you

but you took it and formed it

and nurtured what grew

serenaded the moon

and divined the truth

watered the seed

to sprout life anew

And that’s how I know

that for love to grow

You need caring and hope

so that it will be so
